Article in the Australian ABC News Online that is titled
Internet ‘more robust’ than thought. In there is this line:
This new model of the Internet has been called a “highly optimised network” or HOTnet
Where is the ‘T’ from ? Highly Optimised Network. There’s no T. But then a ‘HOnet’ would be something used by the police in red-light districts I guess …..
Looks like they are ignoring the ne of network, and going to twork… It could also be called HONnet, but then again there is nothing honorable about the Internet. So should just revert to calling it HOnet…it is a more catchy name.
