Does this exist ?
Point program at top folder ( D:/Music ) and it will then scan recursively and CDDB everything in every subfolder. I have TONS that needs redoing (tagstagstags) and such a program would be fantastic.

I'd tell you but I don't trust you.
If there is, I would love to know as well.
like this?
Thanks George, that looks like a neat program but it seems I can only CDDB one folder at a time manually …. but maybe I need to read more still.
(I meant the tag-renamer I was trying just before I wrote this !)
I used to use winamp and a plugin called MEXP. It did a tonne of re-naming / re-tagging and re-organising stuff. It costs a few $$, but it was much better than just using winamp.
Try Musicbrainz. It is a tagger that will do exactly what you need, with no fuss.
If musicbrainz doesn’t do the job maybe the godfather can…
I second the recommendation of MusicBrainz, it has helped me clean up my metadata a lot.
Have you tried building your own player?
So did you decide what to use?
You can try my tag editor here. If you would be impressed with the Get Album Info feature then I will be happy to write the same for batch processing.
