It’s tested in IE, and yes, there are some display issues, but as the code is valid, they are down solely to IE and it’s quirks (And speaking of IE, I’ve read some rumours – for that is all they are – that when IE 7 (or whatever number they attach to it) is launched, it will require the .NET framework to run. So if that’s true, that’s a whopping 231meg or more just for the framework- Joy!) so why not get Firefox 😉
Looking at your site in both IE and Firefox (side by side) and don’t see any “breakages in both text and colours” (actually I don’t know what that means, but both browsers look the same).

Ahh, you found the light switch just before I was going to say, “Hey, who turned out the lights?” One more thing, in your css delete the reference to textarea {width:100%} I can’t see what I am typing.
