It’s early again…

D.’s ill, so I’m up all night just in case she gets worse ……

Anyway, I’d forgotten just how incredibly foul the default XP colour scheme is. For a few months now I’ve had a black / charcoal style (as I use a Dell, it suits the monitor too), but I said earlier on another forum that I’d do some work, and this work involves a few screen shots – around 64 or more. As a consequence, given that my theme is dark, and that this would not show up great once grabbed, I’ve spun it back to the default.
It sucks. It’s horrid. This does of course ensure that I get the work done as quick as possible so I can put it back to how it was.

There’s an odd intermittent error here with the smilies. Sometimes they are not displaying, and as of yet, I can’t think what might be causing it….

Diets. I don’t diet. No, that’s wrong, we all diet, because your diet is what you eat, however odd it may be (except cake, that’s good). I don’t bother with wondering about what I eat (hey – it’ll be my first anniversary of no alcohol next month !) but I know some people do. If you are one of those people, then this may be of interest to you.

There is a short article about the fact that the guy who wrote the Ctrl-Alt-Delete sequence is retiring. Brilliant quote from him though … “I may have invented control-alt-delete, but Bill Gates made it really famous”.
