Here’s a clue for film-makers; having loud music / sound effects / background crap does not give your film ‘atmosphere’. No, not at all. It just means that I can’t hear the fucking dialogue (you know – that bit that actually got the film made in the first frigging place (“Hey, I’ve just made a great sound-effect. It’s like a hamster farting into a trombone ! Let’s make a film around it”) ) and it means that I have to keep putting the volume up / down and end up just thinking that the film is a piece of crap and a waste of the time I could otherwise have been on IRC.
And Basic ? It’s shitonastick. (even if the sound were perfect)
