A correction

On my About page for a few years it said I was bipolar. I had written this in some blog posts too. Today I am correcting that. The diagnosis I was given in 2003 was wrong. The psychiatrist who wrote that changed how every subsequent doctor listened to me. They did not question it. It meant years of drugs and side-effects that I did not need. It has meant not getting help I should have got 9 years ago. I could rant and ramble on this for ages but I’m not going to. It’s been hard enough these past several weeks to deal with events and a rant won’t help. The diagnosis has been withdrawn (to be replaced with another but that is never being posted here) and now I get to start where I should have done in the first place.

I would commission someone to create a theme framework for real people – you know, the people who “blog”.
In the whole WordPress universe this does not exist.
It could do, it’s not impossible.
You’ll just have to wait until I have the cash. Which will be never.

I’m not registering at a forum just to search.

I think my answer was right. I don’t know if it wanted ‘green’ as it did not repeat.

I answered ‘Venezuala’ which is correct but also wrong here. I have no idea which one it meant.

There was another about ‘Where does milk come from’. I gave up there.

This is the Torino Impact Hazard Scale for “Assessing Asteroid And Comet Impact Hazard Predictions In The 21st Century”

I find it amusing to see how the ~~person~~ committee that wrote this saw events unfold.

In Yellow Astronomers might want to look up but in Orange we want them to look up and do sums and most of Yellow is saying “It’s probably going to be White, just got a decimal point wrong in here somewhere..”

In Yellow if it’s 10+ years away we don’t care. In Orange we go from the Govt doing some planning (haha, yeah, like that’ll happen) to International Contingency Planning (“Will it hit us? Who will it hit? Do we like them?”). And even in the last section of Orange they are furiously double-checking their sums.

And why are there 3 sections in Red? Not like anyone is drawing on experience here is it and computer models? Who would trust them?

I hope Bruce is around. He’ll make it all okay.
