See what they do. Everything is a learning process - camping spots, sniping posts, etc. I never felt that the single player is a good starting point for multiplayer, however. It helps you with the actual fundamentals of the game, but as for pwning n00bs, you need to get in and get dirty on the interwb. And curse, a lot. Seriously. I didn't pay for xbox live either after the month's free trial as I was so crap at it. Wander around a map, crouched down etc and BANG, yer dead. I was crouched behind a door one of the last times I played Modern Warfare online and suddenly collapsed dead. The death cam showed a guy sneaked up behind me and knifed me! Don't bother with the headset, all you'll hear is (American?) teenagers calling each other "nigga" and "gay" and "queer". Loving Modern Warfare single player though.
