I hope you are getting ready for Wednesday night and some firework shots?? Loads of good long exposure images I hope!
We were at a display tonight, really good and one type of firework in particular was amazing as the spray after the bang seemed to linger for ages. Got a bit of a fright when one of them didn’t exploded in the air, it dropped about 20 metres in front of us then exploded. The crowd firstly felt the bang then the spray flew amongst us. No one was hurt luckily, it was a controlled display too!
Long exposure? I get the shakes for anything slower than full automatic in very bright sunshine :) We have nowhere close to take shots from the house. P is old enough to get out with her friends so we will pass on it probably.
And the squirrel – see the horizontal bar at the bottom? Pulled it out so the nuts fell. It’s back now and bent in place. I WILL win this winter :)
Shows just how smart animals are, people think too little of them.
Do you have a tripod? Or, the ‘pod’ and monkey grip thingy… They should hod it steady enough, you only need 5 seconds at most. Take Winston out for a long walk (hope he doesn’t mind the bangs) and you could get some decent shots??
