On September 4 the new Apple store opens in Leicester. I’ll be there. I’ll be holding an ipod touch and expecting to see a “genius” who can explain to me just why it is crashing (I bet he asks if it’s been jailbroken and regardless of what I say he’ll try to make me a liar) and then he’ll tell me just how long it’ll be until I can get one that .. “just works”.
So it syncs at every single chance, it crashes when updating over wifi, it crashes after updating and this latest crash and the second full restore of the day (it’ll take well over 2 hours btw) is for absolutely no reason that I can be to blame for. So that’s faulty software then. And all the way from California too. Ahhhhhhhh.
But seeing as the Apple site itself doesn’t disclose what you have to do in these situations then it must be a bug unknown to them so I must be entitled to a new one. I shall call them tomorrow.
