If someone in the US would register at the US PSP store – I have tried and it keeps saying the address is wrong even though I know it is right (I have been using Public buildings, political centres etc) so I cannot get things like the Echochrome game, or Hotshots Golf. I’ll happily pay, they will work just fine on my PSP I just need to be able to login. And I can’t, which is a huge PITA. So if someone would, that would be great. Thanks :)
The very start of Lord of War disc after clicking Play – at least on the region 2 DVD – shows a letter E (white background, mechanical animation). It is moved through the animation and it appears to stay as an E. But it’s shown as a U (in Manufacturing). I have no idea how many times I have watched LoW – it’s a lot – and it’s taken me until now to see this. Not important but details matter :)
The post I liked the most on my last blog was the one where I asked people what made them happy. It was the only post I really didn’t want to lose. So I exported the DB, created a new user, assigned the page to that user then exported. The resulting file I trimmed of some cats and one import later I have the ‘So what makes you happy?’ post here along with the 254 comments. Adding to that a 301 redirect from the old page and I’m pretty happy. All good.
Insert Scooter album into drive.
It copies the music to the HD and plays it.
Later I try to find said music and cannot so I re-insert CD
It offers to re-import and replace – I say No.
I play the CD.
And now I have 2 copies of all the tracks on that album.
Why on earth do people rate so highly this monopolistic piece of bloatware?
Please please please can Apple be investigated by the EU just as Microsoft were and can someone else start writing something that does just one thing – play music.
I think I’ll buy a mini hifi.

High Court judges have ruled psychiatric patients should not be allowed to smoke at a high security mental hospital.

You can’t argue with the danger to others, but:
The judge added the smoking ban was also justified by security difficulties posed by allowing inmates – many of whom have “dangerous, violent or criminal propensities” – to smoke outside in Rampton’s grounds.
This is garbage. Rampton wants, Rampton gets. They can completely afford the security needed. This is a complete non-excuse. Seriously it is that bad.

I hope someone takes this to the Court of Human Rights. And I hope someone else forces all the staff and families there to stop smoking as that whole area of land is Health Service / Govt property. And don’t you just know that the person who actually started all this is one of those ex-smoker zealots?
