Legs aren’t built to swell

From halfway down my left calf, at a point where the muscle should start to come back in to the ankle, mine does not. It does not curve in. It does not move out. It just goes straight down to my ankle where it joins the rest of a very swollen foot. I have the left foot of an 60 year old oedematous woman. The skin is hard and hot, it itches like hell, scratching hurts. And all because some tiny creature in the tropical jungle that is central UK decided to bite me. Elevate it then when I need to walk it hurts more. Don’t elevate and it hurts anyway. Hmm..
Tried. Feel sick. Need sleep.
