  1. I once looked into a place that did treatment for this. The first thing they wanted, before they would even consider you, was for you to sign a contract that said you wouldn’t self injure during the (lengthy) program.

Christ. If I could do that, I wouldn’t need the program. (After reading more about what they do, I realized they wouldn’t be of much use to me anyway. Another bunch of professionals all psyched up to fix up the surface of my problems, etc.)

It’s as though they imagine that I get up in the morning and say to myself, “Hmm. What do I want to do today. Hey! I’ll cut myself and beat my head! That’ll be fun. Oh wait, I said I’d hold off on that for a few months. Right. I guess I’ll just take a walk down to the coffee shop then…”

    gaaaah.

  2. hehe, xpig. Speaking of the beating head thing, my cousin had that problem when he was like one. I predict he won’t be right. Course, his mother breastfed him until he was like 1 1/2… or longer, cant remember. That stemmed his problems I think. Wouldn’t let him eat real food, or at least not much of it. Doing the same damn thing to her 2nd son, and no one will say anything.
