Offensive flash on the BBC

A very odd page on the BBC. London Attacks in Depth – on this page is a flash animation of “How they did it” and watching it I’m thinking “Who thought this was a good idea ? What does this add ?” I can’t but think this is anything but juvenile and …. pathetic, almost offensive. It’s almost reducing what happened to a cartoon. Do we really need to see little red dots moving over a map of London ? How does this help understand ? What part of the words does it explain given that you need to read anyway to understand the maps ? Which idiot thought “Hey, lets use Flash!” ? And which fool say “Yes” ? What is this ? the kindergarten version ?? I actually think this is one of the most appalling things I’ve seen on the BBC.
