It would seem that a few people have been seeing my posts about Google, looking at my robots.txt and then gone poking around. Ordinarily, not a lot wrong there – sometimes looking at a robots file is a good way to see what’s what. But not here – there are 2 spider traps that automatically write to the .htaccess file – and no hidden directories. Since moving here I’d not fixed the path so I’ve been getting several mails saying the trap had been accessed. It’s got boring now so the spider trap is now armed and able to shoot. Whoever you are ( 126.96.36.199 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 ) you were the last to play the game.
