Yer Welcome!
Hey, how do y’all pronounce Leicester there? It is a big arguement here, and has been for generations. We who live here and drive pickup trucks, call it ‘Lester’. Those in town and drive Honda’s, call is ‘Lee-sester’ with emphasis on the Lee.
No one seems to know the true origin of the Leicester in question. If it is German, it is Lie-ster. If it is British, it is…what?

Lester :)
And the origin ? I have no idea.. never looked it up either to be honest. Maybe I should !
Leicester – Ligera ceaster (early 10c.) “Roman Town of the People Called Ligore,” a tribal name, of unknown origin.
