Dripping Taps

I feel like a plumber. The sort of plumber who has a dripping tap in his own house, yet in the houses he has visited during the day – like every day -all is good. You know – if you have read this page for some time – how I used to play with the css ? Generally fiddle with how things looked ? And now I don’t. Not because I don’t want to, or that I lack ideas, just that when everything else is done, I have no energy for that. Oh well …..could be worse.

Ears. I took the 10mm plug out of my left lobe a couple of months ago. It’s now down to 3mm, and I’ve a feeling that but for a dent in the lobe, it’s bigness would be all but hidden. It was just an experiment though – it’s going back to 10mm, though playing with the taper suggests that stretching it back up will be as tough as it was initially. I’ll see. The other lobe holes are stable at 16mm – having metal in there at 18mm / 20mm needs so much looking after. I’d have thought by now that maybe someone would have come up with some sort of coating that can do something about the ‘gunk factor’ – or does it exist ? Having solid clear acrylic plugs is a bit too subtle too .. big metal damn obvious tunnels are much more my style.

Saw this in a usenet post – “To the world, you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world”. I like that.
